Week One: Day One
Making some changes to drop a few pounds and save some money. Breakfast today was Coffee and cereal with Almond mike. Lunch was an Orange with some celery and carrots. Dinner should be light. So far so good. Felt better not eating a heavy breakfast or lunch.

11/16/2012: MoCo 35
Today I rode the 35 mile MoCo Epic route. I had done this in the past but not included the new sections of trail that were built last Summer. The trail was as I remember and seemed like mose other trails around here. It was a good day of riding.

11/15/2012: Out with a Fizzle
My 2012 racing season came in with a bang and out with a fizzle. I found out today that the Six Hours of Cathedral Pines race in NY had been officially canceled due to the Hurican. The decision was completely understandable but left me feeling like I missed the boat or something.
To Sum up the season though I think everything went well in the 11 races I rode. This year was had alot of good learning opertunities and some good results. I now know what I need to work on this Winter and can develop a plan to get better. Im looking forward to next year.
My goals are to continue with the XC races, Finish a 12 hour solo, Do the SM100 and some road/cross races. I hope to update my BLOG more too! I plan on adding pics from my training rides from now on.

11/12/2012
This past weekend I rode once again at "Rockland Farm" home of the Baker's Dozen. The course was altered a bit due to the storms we have seen this year. The ride was nice none the less. Jack, Chris and I dropped off donations that were being collected for people touched by Hurricane Sandy. Chris took the first lap while Jack and I set up my new wheelset. The course was fast wit alot of traction. It made for a good afternoon of MTB riding. It was also nice to see some fellow DCMTB guys out on the course.

20 mile Ride - Germantown to Peachtree. Today's ride was another in a series of cold morning rides. I cut the ride short today since my feet were nearly frozen. I picked up some toe warmers from Perf for this weekends ride. The DCMTB jacket that Chris got me is working great. I may need to figure out how to layer under it since a SS Jersey is starting to not cut it.
